The Weather Channel told us to expect a "Severe Weather Outbreak" and possible tornadoes. We just got 53 mph winds. That brush doesn't grow diagonally.
I don't think we need to be too afraid. These guys would freeze their little rattlers off.

Sure...the wind was horrible. But when we hit the road east that 53 mph wind became a sweet tail wind and the 4-cylinder RAV4 became a Lamborghini.
How do you break up the boredom of driving across the Plains? That's right...Churro fight!
Wow. That's the most elaborate state sign we've seen so far. It's carved out of wood. Nice!
Did you know Minnesota is one of the biggest producers of wheat in this country? We didn't either...until we drove 450 miles without seeing anything but. Not even a cabbage.
