Day 13: Chicago (Part 1)

Our first morning ever in Chicago. Shannon is so stoked because she loves little coffee cups. Seriously...little cups can make or break it. Nathaniel heard something strange coming from the front brakes, so he thought that he could cure the problem by sticking his bum as high as he could in the air.
Ladies and Gentlemen. Lake Michigan. Isn't it great? A Great lake...if you will.
Cartwheel time.
We stayed up really late last night with Ryan and Ann. Lack of sleep makes Nathaniel one with the tree people. Did you know that Chicago has a beach? Did you know that it can be 80 degrees in Chicago in mid-October?
Chicago is full of brick homes, tree lined streets, and giant squirrels (more later).
This place is called "Sweet Occasions"...and it was. Not only are the cupcakes and ice cream great but so are the people that work here...They took this pic for us.
Hey Mr. Mailbox. I'm on vacation...don't blow my mind.
Ryan played baseball at Purdue, kept Nathaniel from going insane at Genentech, and paints the coolest hippo ever.
