Day 6: Glacier to Bozeman, MT

Did you know that Bald Eagles in Montana love string cheese? Neither did Nathaniel. Lookoooooooooouuuuuuutttt! OK...Shannon is a better actor.
A giant forest fire burned 10% of the park in 2003, mainly on the northwest side.
We drove 30 miles out of our way to Polebridge, Montana to go to the greatest bakery in the world. Half of the journey was on dirt roads. Nathaniel didn't believe the hype, but Shannon was stoked.
Holy yummy town. The bakery was full of the yummiest treats...and taxidermy. Weird...but wonderful....Nathaniel was so wrong.
BBQ Rex guards the grill in Polebridge.
How much do people in Montana love America? A lot. We didn't even know you could get a flag pole for your bike.
Shannon has relaxed her hair maintenance schedule on the road. We think a baby marmot has taken up residence inside.
Montana didn't have a speed limit until 1999. The law read: Daytime Speed Limit for passenger vehicles is reasonable and prudent. Due to complications of prosecuting speeders and receiving federal money for roads, Montana put up a speed limit. There are only 120 highway patrolman in the whole state, so our Bed & Breakfast host said, "If you get pulled over for speeding in this state, you have to be extremely unlucky."

These little white crosses on red stakes are everywhere. The Highway Patrol puts them up to mark vechicle fatalites, and are supposed to encourage safer and sober driving. Drunk driving is a massive problem here. It's only a 100$ fine for having an open alcohol beverage in your car.
Beautiful sky on the way to Bozeman, Montana.
Shannon laughs cause Nathaniel is horrible using her camera when he's a passenger.
God has spoken. You will stay in Bozeman and eat pizza for dinner.

Congratulations! Aaron never even told me you two were getting hitched. I had to hear about it from Carolyn's blog. Nevertheless congrats and in Hawaii no less. Sounds like you're living it up already. I've always wanted to visit big sky country. I have a good friend who lives there. Have fun on the honeymoon road trip. Nathaniel, sounds like your new wife is wonderful you deserve a great wife. Thanks for putting up with the Waite family growing. Drop into Vegas on your way back so we can meet Shannon.

Hey, I don't have a gmail so when it says leah made a comment it is actually from Chris and Leah and oh yeah Sydney. We hope all is well. Sydney is a very happy baby...and she drools a lot. She pretty much takes up all of my spare time but is worth it. Loved the bears. Good luck in Montana. Met a lot of rednecks from there. They all chew...it's gross.
